Medium voltage stranded copper pvc sheath power cable has the advantages of not only high mechanical strength, good ambient stress resistance, good electrical properties and anti-chemical corrosion, but also simple construction, light weight and convenient to use. It applies to electrical power transmission and distribution lines with A.C. rated voltage U0/U up to and including 0.6/1 kilovolts.
The main characteristics of low smoke, halogen-free, flame retardant medium voltage stranded copper pvc sheath power cable is very low smoke emission and harmless (low toxic, low corrosive) besides the property of flame retardant. It can be used in such kinds of places as subway, tunnel, power station with special demands of property of flame retardant, the density of smoke density toxic index if cable is burnt.
Standard: The medium voltage stranded copper pvc sheath power cable is manufactured according to the standard of GB12706 or IEC,BS,DIN and ICEA upon request.

Operating characteristics:
1) Rated power-frequency voltage U0/U: 3.6/6kV~26/35kV.
2) Max.admissible operating temperature of the conductor:90℃.
3) Max. short-circuit temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250C. (5s maximum duration)
4) The ambient temperature under installation should not below 0C.
5) The bending radius of a single-core cable should not less than 20 times of the cable diameter. The bending radius of a single-core cable should not less than 15 times of the cable diameter.
